“Since it doesn’t sustain me and I’m… y’know - dead, will it give me cavities?”
“Strange question, but no I don’t believe so, though I haven’t quite--”
Taking a handful as if she were a kid, she shoved them in her mouth as if she hadn’t eaten in ten years. The honey was delicious! As she bit down on the shell, honey oozed into her mouth and made her sway back and forth in joyous harmony. Be still, my heart! Feeling the sticky sweetness on her teeth made her smile with overwhelming joy. But Falion seemed horrified as he stared at her, mouth agape.
“You blundering fool! Do you realize how long it takes to make those?”
“Do you want them back?” She spoke, her mouth still quite full. In response he huffed, slammed the box shut and turned away, the mysterious candy box under his arm as if it were precious stones.
