I have a freelance editing client that I've had for a while. We're not friends per say, in fact I've never had much interaction beyond the professional with him, just manuscript work. T'was all very above board and business like, I honestly think I've had 2 personal conversations with the guy in a decade.

Till now, that is.

Now I am trying to figure out how to put him back in his work box. The guy took a break from writing 2 1/2 years ago and now, apparently, he has discovered a new tool in his writing arsenal. ALCOHOL! Which, honestly, isn't as unusual as I wish it was. Plenty of authors get stressed and then immediately after getting stressed, get drunk.

However I have mostly been lucky enough to only have to deal with this in a major way twice before (with 2 other writers). Now I can make this a third. He has emailed me, texted me, drunk dialed me. Pretty soon I think he may drunk smoke signal me. Only my brother-in-law gets to drunk dial me! Because I adore him and he's extremely amusing every time he does it. He mostly likes to share Lord of the Rings and Hobbit jokes with me.

This author? He is NOT amusing, he is not funny. Most frustrating? I can't tell if he actually has anything he wants me to edit. He's basically just some guy I used to know professionally who seems to have drank the contents of an entire liquor store, and needs to share the experience with me... repeatedly.

for when you want to rewatch aaron’s 2014 storylines without unnecessary* rbrt scenes.

* meaning rbrt scenes where aaron is on screen or mentioned are included bc i’m a perfectionist and i need all aaron scenes collected for my rewatches, but rbrt scenes from the affair era that aren’t relevant to aaron (the weeks upon weeks of him gaslighting and threatening katie) are not.

psa: these files are massive yikes. one part is roughly an hour long and 6GB. but the quality is great so there’s that! also i edited these scenes for Me, so i’ve included context things i find relevant and some scenes from storylines and characters other people might not have interest in watching (vic and adam scenes mostly)
