Waking up, leaving the bus, standing right behind the stage and bumping into the familiar faces from the day before? A day can't really start any better. Especially if you make it out of your bunk before the NOFX crew turns on the sound for line check. Hahaha.
So you make your rounds around the area, try to get some sort of orientation for the new festival setup, locate the nearest coffee station and open toilet.
Luckily Hatfield greeted us with blasting sunshine and overall everyone seemed to be a wee more relaxed than in Leeds. Maybe because the second day makes it a more familiar surrounding?
Got to hang out with the crew of my favourite band (basically the nicest people you can imagine), the wonderful Kent Jamieson (I understand the hype now) and my favourite man from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!
I got a random compliment from the new Zebrahead singer for my hair and got to do a two people circle pit on stage with no one less than Fat Mike, which was barely noticed by anyone but Matt Nasir. 😂 Can someone please pinch me?
When I quit my previous job I never expected this to be on the agenda of my current job... Well, I just wanna say - I freaking love it. And I can't believe how fast strangers become some sort of touring family within just two days. I really really hope we can go ahead with Punk In Drublic next summer, so I can hang out with the NOFX crew again! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Oh and I wouldn't mind to have all this tours I booked within the last couple of months actually happening because to see this shit happening is the best pay off in this business 💕
