I've been really proud of Gwyn. She hasn't once tried to grab that cord on the pulse/ox. She does still investigate and want to pull on wrist brace velcro, so I was anticipating having to discuss it with her, but nope! Good girl! It's a cord, it's a NO 🧡
Interestingly, she does intently sniff under my fitbit face and under the pulse/ox band, the same way she sniffs my breath. I don't know what she's looking for, but she apparently needs to regularly check. (I would love to try to figure it out, but Health is still too problematic.)
Soft, gentle kissy-face with a minimum of slappy-face, and Tristan finally gets to help a friend clean her toes.
(I believe Gwyn wants you to rub her belly, Tristan, but I am not sure how she expects you to do it.)
Gwyn plays slappy hands with all four feet and teeth 😆 She was sleepy, so wide-eyed and a little slow with the teeth, but also soft. Sounds: happy soft play-growlies
Last night I opened to door to walk the dogs at 9pm and lightning struck, I think in my "front yard". All I could see was bright, bright and feel the simultaneous thunder. It wasn't raining, it hadn't been thundering, it started out of nowhere.
I closed the door and we went to recover in the bedroom while TFaTB (who was in a different part of the house, saw the house light up when I opened the door, but wasn't having a tachycardia episode) went to check on the horses (who were safe in the barn).
Tristan was not interested in Gwyn-style attempted comfort. He was watching the bedroom door and looking up at the ceiling fan in case it stopped. Little sister trying to wriggle at him was Not Helping.
Look at this giant slappy hand i made (patten by jaynepeppers on etsy and IG) i ran out of yarn or else i would make the handle longer but i want to make a million of these and host slappy hands duels thank you🥰
