having re-read six of crows in my prep for the shadow and bone show
I have no idea how they could ever show Inej's ascent in the incinerator. so much of the power of that scene is through her internal monolog, knowing what shes thinking, the flashbacks, her resolution
six stories in the dark...
its honestly one of my favorite chapters in literary history,shes one of the best characters ever written, possibly the best character development I've ever read.
nothing could ever do the writing of that justice, but I also want to see it
the heart is an arrow it demands aim to land true
I mean COME ON
