the character I’m most like:
i want to say rory just because i’ve been told that a lot, but it’s probably because i just like to read a lot. i don’t have the same take charge attitude nor am I as anal about studying. we share some shyness. however, i’m not as hell bent on making EVERYONE happy while foregoing my own happiness, ya know? i feel more connected to jess and lorelai surprisingly – minus the childlike quality of the latter.
favorite pairing:
rory and jess; paris and doyle; lane and dave (i just really don’t like zach, i never saw the chemistry there).
least favorite pairing:
i’m going to tear a seam from laughing but no really rory and dean. followed closely by lorelai and christopher. i know it’s a sore spot within the fandom, and i can understand the appeal i guess, but lorelai deserved so much better than him honestly.
favorite moment:
it depends on the pairing and stuff. overall, my fave moment is honestly when rory and lorelai reunite, lorelai tossing the phone away to hug her real tight. i also like the moments where rory cries in lorelai’s lap, it truly shows how close they are and how lorelai doesn’t take shit when it comes to people hurting her daughter.
pairing wise, because i’m a dweeb and need a list. rory and jess: 22.8 miles or him bringing the book in s6, saying “i couldn’t have done it without you.”; paris and doyle: omg any moment where they’re super awkward together – probably the speed dating scene between them. lane and dave: their kiss at thanksgiving is fucking adorable.
rating out of 10:
8.75/10. it does have its downsides and glaring flaws and i could go on for days about how problematic some of the shit they talk about or show is, but it’s been with me since high school and i adore it.
