Rezo stands tall and dignified, eerily still--eerie if only because there is something always otherworldly in his pensiveness and pallor--with a palm pressed to the nearest evergreen. Fingers feast on the wonderful irregularities of the bark.
The longest pause, and then, to whomever has approached (he's really not particular about it), he poses the question:
"Do you suppose trees have feelings? I somehow feel sure of it."

Relaxing!
Ah! Nothing like a nice relaxing day out in the sun! I could just take a nap right now! Yawn...It’s just...so...warm...and there aren’t any bandits around...no Naga...just...so peaceful...zzzz
A Day in Bezeld
((Author’s note: I am opening this intro to anyone who wishes to RP with me, all are welcome!))
Evening was steadily descending over the rural outskirts of Bezeld, orange and purple hues beginning to color the horizon. Save for the rhythmic passing of a the occasional merchant cart returning home and the feathery beat of swifts as they made to their roosts for the night, it was fairly quiet. Peaceful, even.
Further up the lane was a different story though. Muffled by the thick stone walls of a modest cottage, came the distinct clamor of arguing, overturned furniture, and finally a heavy wooden door being thrown open. Out stormed a simply dressed girl with a dark braid, righteous with fury as she glanced back inside, and yelled at the top of her lungs.
“GO TO HELL, OLD MAN!!!”
A badly aimed stein flew passed her head from inside. She had swiftly sidestepped the attack and then quickly slammed the door, popping a few hinge joints in the process. Several birds nearby abandoned their perches. She turned down the path, the aura of icy intensity about her was tangible, and she left deep footprints in the dirt as she stomped along, oblivious to her surroundings (or anyone in her way, for that matter.)

Well, it’s happened. I made a side blog for Slayers RP purposes. This may be a mistake. Oops. 😂

As the Great Sage retired to his guest quarters, Amelia found herself zipping back and forth around the palace as quickly as her daintily-slippered feet could carry her, gripping the skirt of her dress in white-knuckled fingers as a million thoughts raced her frantic mind.
Rezo. Zelgadis. Grandpa. Daddy. Death. Death? Royalty. Responsibility. Guilt. Zelgadis. Rezo.
“Princess, your father would like to remind you of your private audience later this evening.”
“Yes, thank you.”
“Princess, the maids in the guest chambers are inquiring as to--”
“Give him what he needs, please, and don’t say anything more.”
“Princess, your grandfather is requesting--”
Two hours and a terrifyingly frank conversation about the impending realities of Eldoran Seyruun’s illness later, Amelia sat at the side of his bed, holding his hand in hers. He had fallen asleep.
Her chest rose and fell with the emotional exertion that had overtaken her, and she took a moment to steady herself and wipe nervous sweat from her brow before nodding at a door guard.
“Please, summon Mister Rezo now.”
