Yes, without their enhancements they are considered simply human again, if they're alive at all. As most unregistered homina don't live through the removal procedure, there aren't many that find themselves in the limited 'prison' system of the Republic. Those who do, would find themselves with varying sentences if only because criminal sentences are decided by the military officer who finds them in violation of the law. Same goes with any offense. The officer decides both guilt and sentence. In rare cases, the Republic may scrub clean a record or pardon and individual, but it's not commonplace.
I was looking through canons and wanted to point out that FAN (Meisa Kuroki) is a Chinese surname, not Japanese. And for the Peruvian senior liaison canon, Asia Argento is white (Italian) and not of any South American ethnicity in the least. :/
Thank you for pointing these errors out!! They were complete slips on our part, and we're really sorry about if they offended anyone. We picked out the faces, assigned jobs, then moved people around when we were making the list, and these clearly got messed up in the shuffle. Judging by the Surname, I think the Asia Argento canon was originally an Italian character or was supposed to be someone of Italian decent, but since it isn't mentioned in the blurb, I'll go ahead and change it. So everyone knows: DA SILVA (Asia Argento) is now played by Morena Baccarin.
and FAN's new surname is IZUMI.
