7. One-shots or longfic?
Back when I wasn’t really into fanfiction I rarely read stuff over 1,5k words. Nowadays it’s the longer the better and I’ll usually skip fics under 2k words. 7-9k is a good length an if it’s over 10k/20k/30k I’m delighted.
35. Do you like high school and college AUs?
Not something I’m into, and I don’t think I actually have ever read one. (Same goes for coffee shop AU.)

2. Favorite genre of fic?
Huh. AU, I think. I love well-done AUs, love to see how the canon elements get rearranged in new settings, what stays, what goes, what new can be said about the characters in this situations (for me, AU can be the best space for character study - what, in author’s interpretation, is an inseparable for that character and what is their circumstances?). Every fanficiton is reinterpretation and forces canon text into dialogue on its own terms, but I find it especially compelling with good AU.

Oh dear god. ;D I have you know, it is a very cruel question.;)
Okay. Maybe because it was young (and, to some degree first) pairing love, but my first thought was still House/Wilson (platonic, romantic, whatever). It’s all Wilson’s fault.

☪ : what do you hate about your language?
oke, lecą hejtythe thing i hate the most about polish is that you always speak in a official manner to, well, pretty much everyone beside people your age? calling someone “you” is another level of relationship. you call everyone else “sir” or “lady” and you don’t use it once, at the beginning of the sentence and then go on with “you” like in english. nah. you just use sir or lady as a pronoun and speak in the third person to everyone. it’s pretty hard to overcome, using “you” to strangers or older people might be considered rude and it makes everything so pointlessly official and distant.another thing is that eveRY BLOODY WORD is gendered and it’s super hard to speak in the gender neutral way. “she sat” and “he sat” sound completely differently and saying “they sat” about a single person is, as far as i’m concerned, incorrect. i think it comes from how Poland is. um. still uneducated in terms of gender and when i complain to someone that there’s no way to speak in the gender neutral way they just go “but why do you need it? you can see what gender they are”. well.......................... also polish is really frickin hard, with lots of weird rules and letters that are read the same way but you cannot just use the one you want, what makes things pretty confusing
