GOSH I've been reading ST since I was like 13? I'm gonna turn 18 now- HWBDBDBDH it's been such a ride, I honestly loved LOVED this fic some much, I had gotten pretty busy since last year so I decided to read it again because why not, and then I suddenly remembered about how excited I used to be about your story updates. Prairie's design is honestly so cute and pretty! Plus I love the story so much, you really though that through! I remember connecting the dots each time and going "ohhhhhh" lmao I had a lot of fun! Looking forward to whatever you have in store <33333

Can you imagine having such a big crush that you throw yourself onto the ground that is covered in leaves and sticks? That is insane. I love it.

It's so insane, and I love him for it, haha.

I really wish we'd gotten to see a little bit more of both Eddie and Chrissy before tragedy struck, because that first episode shows him to be such a performer, even outside of music. He was so into putting on a show, particularly during D&D, but that moment with Chrissy is just so magic in the way it veers between performance and bravado and honesty and this vulnerability that feels all teenage boy.

It just lights this match in the chemistry they share that makes it feel so real, and I love the way it opens something up in Chrissy. She has quite a few scenes in that episode, and it's so important she's so defensively closed given what she's going through, and it's what makes that contrast of the way he just opens her up as a character really special. He wants her attention, but he also wants her to know she has his, and there's something to that, I think, that sparks curiousity that seems to just briefly fuel them both, and ugh, I love them so much, and I wish we'd had so much more of them.

I don’t watch Stranger Things, but I have played D&D for years and I feel that you would appreciate that it’s an ongoing “joke” (in the “haha jk, unless…?” sense) in the community that all the qualities of a good Dungeon Master are the exact same ones for a good service top. Establishing boundaries and limits before playing but also knowing when to push on them to make things interesting, being attuned to your players emotionally to see if everyone is doing well and having fun, being trusted to show your players a good time and working hard to follow through on that, etc. That said, I cannot think of anything less sexy to play than early edition D&D, modern D&D already has so much math involved in it and the early editions had even more math and charts to deal with, ugh… Unless you had all that stuff memorized, I feel that it would take forever to get things done and have them run smoothly.

And it's just amazing reading this while I'm working on my own Steddie fic and trying to work out their dynamic screammmm because now I'm just thinking about Eddie as a service top and losing my mind because I want Steve to be nervous about being with a man for the first time and I want Eddie to be really sweet and patient and gentle with him!!!!

Also I'd really recommend ST!! It's not perfect, but it's really fun and has some great characters, and S4 has been my favourite season so far!!! I'm just like. in love with the new character Eddie Munson rn, it's so embarrassing dhdhdhss

omg and it's so funny you saying that there couldn't be anything less sexy than old D&D because from what I know about it I COMPLETELY AGREE, I can't even play the modern one properly, all the calculations and math elements just make my head hurt (though I like the character building and storytelling parts) and I can just imagine that having been even worse in the 80s. But I'm also kinda in love with the idea of Steve watching Eddie be a DM during one of his campaigns and not knowing what the hell is going on but being besotted anyway because that's His Guy right there.
