Sometimes the super Christian upbringing I had is activated in me like a sleeper agent. I go from chilling and thinking about how happy I am to be a queer socialist to singing a hymn in my kitchen because one of the super freaked out pieces of gay fan fiction that I was reading while making dinner was titled with a lyric from said hymn.
