♟ :A close call to being killed yourself
"I don't have many of those since not a lot of people could even be close to being my equal. One time I could say would be right after my training days. I was send out to the field by the last Arishok and was overconfident. My unit could not keep up with me and before I knew it I was fighting Tevinters by my own."
He let out a deep sigh.
"I think I do not need to mention that I was not ready for what I faced and was at the mercy of the Tevinters. When I thought I was going to die the rest of my unit caught up to me and saved me. I learned a valuable lesson that day. But I am not the man I was back then and cannot afford to lose anymore."

Darkness coloured the sky, the moon and stars acting as the only sources of radiance amongst the shade of nightfall. They, the sky’s luminescence, were what lit Haruto’s escape, the male rushing through brush and frigid air. He was tired, limping, and pushing himself not surrender to unconscious. Evading capture was of the utmost importance, so as to avoid the blood suckers who called themselves kings.
His brother, he needed to find his brother..
Ugh.
Why was there always so much more to do in this new world order??
Flashes of light sparked through the young man’s sight, despite the gloom of the night. Apparently, his body was going to force him to quit. Annoying, but hardly a surprise--Human weaknesses never really matched the Tenjo's spirit, unfortunately. There wasn't much else to do then seek shelter, Haruto supposed. Leaving himself out in the open would only be a fool's mistake.
The man stumbled on, breath haggard and one arm hugging the other ever so closely to his being. It wasn't until some steps later that a silhouette of a house was found. If Haruto weren't use to dark, then he would have never noticed the place.
This home.. It looked abandoned.
There wasn't a single lit light, Haruto discovering vegetation had claimed the home's walls upon approach. Even the windows seem engulfed by vines, the glass only detectable by the moonlight's sheen gracing across the slithers of exposed oriel.
Residing at this site was a game of risk that Haruto was unable to afford, and-- Ba-bump!
Haruto bit his tongue to keep from crying out, grabbing his chest and cringing from the sudden ache of agony. His entire being was begging for rest; there was no longer any choice: This dusty, old estate would have to be where he rested tonight. So, with a tearing away of vines at the nearest window, Haruto forced himself inside. Which, surprisingly, didn't involve breaking any glass. Perhaps the home was so old that the frames were weak, now? Haruto didn't speculate much, he just tumbled onto the creakily, old mansion floor, falling to his side with a groan.
Ba-bump, Ba-bump!
"Ugh.." The male rolled onto his back, too tired to properly sit himself up and inspect the place he intruded upon. "God, this is becoming an eternal nightmare.."

The Fool: What is the stupidest thing your muse has ever done?
{ One time he was minding his own business and someone threw a ball high in the air. His instincts kinda kicked in and he chased after it but he was so focused on the ball that he did not pay attention to what was in front of him until--boom! He runs face first into a street pole. The dork. }
I just read your writing on Tranquility and it's a delightful read as I often as a mage side with them. I often have arguments with some of my friends who don't understand the issue with being made tranquil; I could never find a way to put it into words about why it's so terrible. Reading your writing was a real breath of fresh air.
I’m glad to hear that, particularly since English is not my mother language and I often feel I can’t find the right words to communicate what I think :)
I actually find it kind of disturbing that so many people need an explanation to understand why Tranquility is not okay. But I guess for some it’s not so obvious :/

God if these places weren't that interesting then she would not bother traveling that much. It really drains a person to travel such far distances, sure she didn't have to walk it but being stuck with so many people for so long was tiring. Great time to enjoy her walk and get used to all of the new surroundings, she'll fall asleep easier later. She would mind her own business unless another decided to interact with her. Unless she was somehow pushed into an encounter.
