The harvest mouse (German: Zwergmaus, dwarf mouse) is the smallest mouse species living in Germany, with adult individuals weighing only about 4 grams. Its habitat are areas with dense and high herbaceous vegetation. In the summer, they don't dig holes, but they sleep in ball-shaped coccoons woven from grass blades hung up high in the vegetation. They have a prehensile tail, which they use as a "fifth limb" for climbing.

it’s so special to me that so much of fan culture is textual analysis for the love of the game. like thank god there are people in my phone who are also thinking about this thing i love so much that they are writing transformative fiction as character studies and setting clips of the show to music with theme-relevant lyrics and writing long text posts analyzing every line of dialogue like!! yay!!!

@broadwaybaggins brought up a very fantastic point in a reply about toby remembering when his father was on trial and does he not want his children to go through that also

toby is scarred and angry at his own dad for committing murder, for hardly ever being around and emotionally available, leaving them all behind for years in prison. and here he is. tobias ziegler saying he is fully prepared to face prison time. but dont you dare mention his two children. don't dare mention what is going through his mind - thinking about repeating these same mistakes. missing more years of huck and molly's lives because he's not with them. he doesn't want them dragged into this.

Whatever you do don’t think about the meetings with the lawyer in the living room of the Brooklyn apartment, meetings that the girls skipped work for and Toby would press his ear against the bedroom door to listen in on, don’t think of the four of them sitting in a row in the courtroom in their best clothes, hair combed, shoes spit-shined, Toby putting his hand on David’s shoulder because he won’t stop fidgeting and Ma is too distracted to tell him to settle (and Toby can’t be more than, what, ten or twelve here? David is five or six maybe?). Don’t think of how the lawyer gestured to the children and reminded the court how they needed their father, can’t anyone see that, won’t anyone think of them? Don’t think about how Toby wanted to cry and scream and punch that lawyer in the face and how he couldn’t look his father in the eye.

Stealing all of your tags because they are gold. The parallels to Molly! The Huck and David parallels (he's always seen so much of his brother in his son. And oh, that terrifies him, two gentle boys with sadness creeping in and Molly is her father's daughter to the core)

Could it be also that he was hoping against hope that he wouldn't go to prison? Not a pardon, he doesn't want that (though he gets it) but could he be hoping that he gets what his father never did, because his father was guilty and Toby is guilty too but it's different. Could he be hoping for an innocent verdict, a hung jury, a mistrial? That someone will see what he did was necessary even if it was treason?

Quite interesting actually, i read about this and its not just coke that the salmon are doing. After using cocaine, HUMANS digest it into a whole other chemical to which the salmons are exposed to through water waste and that chemical is what is making the salmon swim farther than usual

In addition to playing basketball at UC Berkeley, CJ Cregg was on the track and field team in high school. She started running after her mother died, as a way to get out of the house, but her runs kept getting longer and longer. Eventually, her speed improved, too. She was best at distance races, including the mile and the 10,000. She wasn't the best on the team, but she liked how running often helped to calm the grief in her head for a while. Plus, it was nice to have another sport when basketball wasn't in season. She didn't keep it up in college, but she kept running.

I know it’s fun to give Sorkin and the other writers a hard time for having so many female characters whose names start with A. Amy. Andy. Ainsley. Annabeth. But as someone who works in a department where over half of our names start with A, including two people with the same name, I think we’re missing out on some comedic opportunities here, including but not limited to:

—Being called the wrong name (and responding anyway)

—someone whose name doesn’t start with A being called by the wrong name (and responding anyway)

—jokes about being interchangeable

—a lot of A-Team jokes and jokes of a similar nature.

Bipolar Toby gets hypersexual during an episode, but Andy doesn't want to to have sex right now. (Could be any number of reasons but if you want to make it more heartbreaking give her pain and medical issues regarding her fertility.)

So Toby goes to bars. He drinks. And he drinks. And he drinks. And then who is that? Oh wow we're kissing, oh wow we're back at her place. And Toby (unemployed between campaigns) stumbles home at 4:30 in the morning, scotch on his breath, smelling like sex. He gets in bed with his shoes still on and sleeps, or rather passes out, for a couple hours. Andy will help him recover tomorrow. After all, what's a wife for?

He also a bunch of kids from doing this. Even he couldn't say how many. But he knows about them and ignores them. And Andy knows. Big part of what leads to the divorce is the fact that while Andy is struggling to get pregnant, Toby is already neglacting his kids.

hey guys remember how CJ is always treated as hysterical by everyone else when she has breakdowns over issues of violent misogyny (but when any other member of the cast experiences something similar it’s fine) and how when she messes up on the podium once, she feels the need to resign (but when everyone else makes mistakes it’s treated as a publicity problem and nothing else) remember how nobody ever listens to her even when she’s right most of the time? Remember how she was stuck as chief of staff as all her friends and coworkers left her and the President’s condition declined? Remember how she’s the only woman in the Senior Staff?
