We see similar butterflies all the time but they're more solid colored, I was wondering what that white spot is?
This is a sleep orange, Abaeis nicippe. The white-ish blotch in the middle of the wing is just normal coloration! They can be more solid as well. Just varies between individuals. Here's a whole bunch of photos where you can see the differences between individuals of the same species!
