♫♪ You got the kind of look in your eyes As if no one knows anything but us Should this be the last thing I see I want you to know it's enough for me 'Cause all that you are is all that I'll ever need ♪♫

Please tell me I'm not the only one that gets such a guilty conscious when they look at all the things they have and don't need, knowing there is actually more than a whole billion other people that don't have so much as a lick of what we have and are still happy and genuinely faithful. It's such an empty, awful feeling to step back and look at that. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all that I have and am given, to the extent that I can understand the meaning of appreciate goes. But I can't help but think, why do I need this? A tablet, a phone, a computer, an ereader. Why do I have these things? Why not that starving African child, or the little girl with cancer that lives just a few cities away, why do I need these technologies while others can't even afford to want them?
