What inspired the creation of Crim?

I have not fully fleshed out Crim.

The idea of Crim came to me when I realized Offenderman is just too hot to completely ban from existence… SO I set off to create my own sexy faceless man who is offenderman in every way EXCEPT for the ways or reasons that make Offenderman infamous.

I remember being on Pinterest and seeing this character from Hexatomb and my god…. How he reminded me of offenderman. Beautiful pale face, sharp teeth that could tear right through your jugular… my kind of man… so it had me thinking… I can make my own version of offenderman who is a lustful beast, a creature of night… but doesn’t have the irredeemable qualities of the original. The name Crim came to me shortly after and it got the aesthetic of what I was looking for, using the name offenderman is sort of useless now considering how my version is NOT a sex offender but a being of lust, crave and desire.

For my outfit design that’s where this character called Raziel from Hexatomb comes from, I really like the qualities an associations of fandom offenderman with vampires thus my personalized version of offenderman is infact vampiric in aesthetic and nature, although I of course still love the old noir aesthetic of his former form so I interchange his outfits from being based off Raziel from Hexatomb to the exact same outfit that the original sexual offenderman wears.

I have recently gotten a commission of a character design sheet from two wonderful different artists encapsulating Crim’s form/outfit

Beginning to write a fic, I don’t really know where I’m taking it but I’ll post it here just because. I think the majority of what I want to focus on as of right now is developing a personality for my Splendor man and giving him complexity in the best way I can which will simply improve with time. Slenderman is in this fic too I’m not sure I want to write him as a complete villain yet but it seems angled in that way, really free balling it so there’s no other chapters right now since this wasn’t planned.

The overseeing watcher torments those who enter his forest, there is another who warns people of this fate but is feared as well. A woman moves into this forest unknowing of either and is tormented by the faceless creature inside her dreams. It wants to bend her and shape her into its mold, although they are both unaware that Splendor is there too. Splendor yearning for connection with humans, the woman wanting to leave behind humanity as she’s lived in the cruel world first-hand. They are both naive to each other’s worlds, and splendor has a darker secret, hidden underneath his mask of joy.

Aaaaand some headcanons too✨

While not quite the same age, he and Trendy are the closest to being twins and overall demeanor

His human name is Kenneth or Kenny for short

He was born with a cleft lip, which doesn't go away even in his Slenderform

He dyes his hair way too often, the purple was his last dye before Tender decided to give it a break

Most of Surrender's clothes are hand-me-downs from Kenny

He's also one of the few members of the Slenderfamily who actually lives near the city, though he's much less famous than Trendy and Fender, his monster from is completely unknown to the humans around him

Not the most chatty bartender you'll meet, but he'll keep you company in silence, unless you're someone he's close to. Oooh boy, you better bring a notebook and pen to write down all the gossip

i hate all of them equally, you can clearly tell who i had fun designing LMAO

anyway some general headcanons for these bozos for my au (not really an au but it's off canon so) !! probably reiterating some stuff i had in the past but eh, tis a new time.

⦻ SLENDER BROTHERS HEADCANONS ⦻

× Yes I based their names and birth order off of that one part from that one song from Scarborough Fair. Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme.

× They all acknowledge these names as their birthnames sort of, but most of them loathe it to some degree. Except for Offender, he's actually fond of his for some odd reason.

× Offender and Trender are twins. Not much of a difference since they're all clones of their dad, but they were made roughly the same time.

× Have I mentioned they're clones? Hence the name of the AU, 'dead ringer'. It's another term for doppleganger basically.

× Before shit happened to their bodies, they could've possibly passed as each other. Same physique and everything. Dress up as each other and no one could tell them apart. Relatively they still have the same physique as before, 'cept Slender got skinnier and Offender got bulked up.

× Their mindset towards life can basically be summed up as

- Nothing Matters :( - Slender, Trender (Indifferent and Apathetic)

- Nothing Matters :) - Offender, Splendor (Doesn't give a shit anymore)

× They don't hunt for the kill, they kill for the hunt. They're not REQUIRED to kill, the sight and smell of blood however heightens their senses and it's just a bit tempting yk? Some, like Trender and Splendor, have better abilities in repressing these urges.

× Their tendrils were from a magick accident by, uh, Slender a few centuries back. It was just on Trender, but the others kinda felt bad and just wanted to make them all match as a sibling thing. It was hell at first but hey, it all worked out.

× Slender for a lack of better word, sucks at magick that isn't his own, but does a damn good job at hiding it. Splendor and Offender are tied for being essentially great at it. Trender doesn't use it at all.

× Splendor's face is hidden behind a living mask. By living, I mean it just changes depending on his emotions. His real face is mutilated. Same with Offender. He hides his real face, figuratively and literally, with a bit of charm and some magick. He has a shit ton of scars but he chooses to let some of the 'memorable' ones, as he calls it, to stay. Trender's hands are also prosthetics, forgot to put it oops.

× In their long period of existence, they still have trouble understanding humane things like love and morality. They do understand and have experienced it to some extent, but they're essentially faking it til you make it.

× Slender's the patriarch of the family, despite being the second eldest. He's also the breadwinner (for some odd reason he gets money by mysterious means) and is able to financially support his siblings endeavours.

× Everyone doesn't know what Offender actually does. They just know he's universally wanted for crimes they don't know about. Hell, even he himself doesn't remember the shit he does most of the time. Evil bad crimes ooooo basically.

× Their family is ostracized and shunned by the other eldritch horrors. They don't even know how or why, but they're just equally hated. Reputation was important to them at some point, until they went their separate ways.

I have to think about more headcanons for each of them like I did before so watch out for that ^_^ I'm getting back into the swing of things and I'm excited to do more stuff for this again
