anyway some general headcanons for these bozos for my au (not really an au but it's off canon so) !! probably reiterating some stuff i had in the past but eh, tis a new time.
⦻ SLENDER BROTHERS HEADCANONS ⦻
× Yes I based their names and birth order off of that one part from that one song from Scarborough Fair. Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme.
× They all acknowledge these names as their birthnames sort of, but most of them loathe it to some degree. Except for Offender, he's actually fond of his for some odd reason.
× Offender and Trender are twins. Not much of a difference since they're all clones of their dad, but they were made roughly the same time.
× Have I mentioned they're clones? Hence the name of the AU, 'dead ringer'. It's another term for doppleganger basically.
× Before shit happened to their bodies, they could've possibly passed as each other. Same physique and everything. Dress up as each other and no one could tell them apart. Relatively they still have the same physique as before, 'cept Slender got skinnier and Offender got bulked up.
× Their mindset towards life can basically be summed up as
- Nothing Matters :( - Slender, Trender (Indifferent and Apathetic)
- Nothing Matters :) - Offender, Splendor (Doesn't give a shit anymore)
× They don't hunt for the kill, they kill for the hunt. They're not REQUIRED to kill, the sight and smell of blood however heightens their senses and it's just a bit tempting yk? Some, like Trender and Splendor, have better abilities in repressing these urges.
× Their tendrils were from a magick accident by, uh, Slender a few centuries back. It was just on Trender, but the others kinda felt bad and just wanted to make them all match as a sibling thing. It was hell at first but hey, it all worked out.
× Slender for a lack of better word, sucks at magick that isn't his own, but does a damn good job at hiding it. Splendor and Offender are tied for being essentially great at it. Trender doesn't use it at all.
× Splendor's face is hidden behind a living mask. By living, I mean it just changes depending on his emotions. His real face is mutilated. Same with Offender. He hides his real face, figuratively and literally, with a bit of charm and some magick. He has a shit ton of scars but he chooses to let some of the 'memorable' ones, as he calls it, to stay. Trender's hands are also prosthetics, forgot to put it oops.
× In their long period of existence, they still have trouble understanding humane things like love and morality. They do understand and have experienced it to some extent, but they're essentially faking it til you make it.
× Slender's the patriarch of the family, despite being the second eldest. He's also the breadwinner (for some odd reason he gets money by mysterious means) and is able to financially support his siblings endeavours.
× Everyone doesn't know what Offender actually does. They just know he's universally wanted for crimes they don't know about. Hell, even he himself doesn't remember the shit he does most of the time. Evil bad crimes ooooo basically.
× Their family is ostracized and shunned by the other eldritch horrors. They don't even know how or why, but they're just equally hated. Reputation was important to them at some point, until they went their separate ways.
I have to think about more headcanons for each of them like I did before so watch out for that ^_^ I'm getting back into the swing of things and I'm excited to do more stuff for this again
