Commentary by Mod Madam: Hello! This is my first ever standalone post! HIIIII! It's so lovely to meet you all!
It was a bit of a lengthy span of time between the first ever instance of Creepypasta on Tobi's account (September 2012) and the first time Tobi actually draws other Creepypastas besides Slenderman.
We've got a whopping cast here: Jeff, Lulu, Eyeless Jack, Masky + Hoodie (just barely), Mr Slenderman himself, Ben, Surrenderman and then Tobi's persona in the corner. So we can infer that Tobi must have fallen down the rabbit hole much farther then just Slenderman within the almost 6 months since the drawings of the Girl, although the fall must have been slower considering it took almost a half a year for this drawing to come out (Tobi through my research pumps out drawings pretty fast).
This is also a pretty big milestone, since this is the first time we see not one, but TWO of her Creepypasta OCs! Lulu and Surrenderman! Surrenderman is most likely singled out in the description since this is the first ever instance of him, Lulu was debuted just 6 days earlier, on February 24th. Yes, did you know Surrenderman is completely her OC?

So here is a Creepypasta I made, I would love to hear people's thoughts!
*Please note that the link leads to this page -> https://creepypasta.fandom.com/wiki/Lulu but the link is either dead or Tobi forgot to ever edit the page with text.

I find it quite interesting that Lulu seems to already be quite developed as a character between the 6 days of her launching on this account and this post. Impressive! (I over use this word a lot). Does anyone else think that she looks a little younger here than she does in the actual comic? Could be artstyle differences, as the way she draws the Pastas here aren't the same as how they look in IEPFB. Masky looks slightly different too, though he never looked like his actual self in any of Tobi's work ever...
Interesting tidbit no. 1: Tobi reveals in the comments the story behind Lulus character! We can tell from this little thread that Tobi had been developing an interest in Creepypastas for quite some time after the Girl posts!
Interesting tidbit no. 2: There was a bit of an argument under the comments of the creepypasta post about Masky and Hoodie being included. Times never change...
You were right KashaDude!
So, we can officially say that Tobi's Creepypasta fandom timeline began with a small interest, a curiosity, in late September 2012, and then slowly grew to other characters, with her first OC creation in ate February 2013, and the interest fully beginning in early March 2013.
How weird to think, from the perspective we have now, just how influential this one little drawing and its predecessor from less than a week previous would be, and the mark it would leave on this fandom forever. We don't see Lazari just yet, she makes her debut in August, but that's only months away...the future has been written! Do you think Tobi had any idea back then on how much of her life she'd dedicate to these serial killer OCs?
It's honestly crazy to be able to see what came before IEPFB, and what would eventually lead up to it in a funny little domino game.
More posts coming up soon!
Yours Sincerely,
Madam
