Okay so I binged this series in about the span of a week and it did things to my brain. The scene where Yui gets Satoru to come home and sleep lives rent-free so I had to draw it. She's the most little sister ever and this scene made me cry from the bittersweet wholesomeness. My utmost respect to slex for this masterpiece of a fic.

Idk if you were the one to recommend me this fic but in case you didn't I think you would really enjoy it since it gave me the same feeling of nothingness like your fics do (I mean this in a good way, it's very difficult to describe just what I felt when reading certain scenes you write)

Their harry reminds me of Lily in a way where at the begining neither of them acted quite human and were just kind of stringing along to whatever happens because they don't really have an ambition outside of getting Tom a body

I think I’ve had that on a rec list at one point? Not any of the recent ones but I think it’s in a post somewhere when I was asked for fem!Harry recs. But yes, I’ve read it. It also reminds me of “Lily” in a lot of places though it goes different directions that I do/would.

A breathtaking scene from crawlersout by slexenskee, the one fanfic I’d wake up from the grave for to read another update. 

It’s a female Harry Potter fanfic, Master of Death, she can go between dimensions so she raises Tom Riddle and butts heads with Gellert Grindelwald in the best way. It’s so achingly good, SO GOOD. The writing is incredibly gorgeous. I love it.

Hawkes lays awake, restless despite his exhaustion, beside the cause of said restlessness and current chaos.

Well, no, that was both untrue and unfair to blame Satoru considering the entire situation had started because his idea. (Well, his stupidly attractive, sparkly, blue eyed face had been a significant contributing factor.) For his own sanity he ix placing the majority of the blame on karma, a jinx, or whatever monkeys paw enjoying deity that puts him in these situations for shits and giggles.

Not that he was complaining, but a heads up would have been nice and the timing definitely could have been better. It was just hard to wrap his mind around the whole thing. (And maybe he was a little afraid to wake up and realize this had all just been a weird dream.)

Which it's not! The proof was humming away not 10 feet from him.

Hawks sighs. He should get up and move it closer.

Getting up sounds awful.

He doesn't want to wake up Satoru to bring it over.

No.

It's fine where it is.

It's likely safer there anyway.

Fuck it. Feathers remove the lid from the incubator and carry over It's precious cargo.

A warm weight lands in his hands and he tucks the egg under the covers into the space between himself and Satoru. His fingers trace constellations on the freckles scattered across the caramel shell.

Movement has him looking up into those galaxies Satoru calles eyes. He blushes, suddenly feeling self conscious, like he'd been caught doing something he shouldn't.

But Satoru just smiles softly with a look in his eyes thats gentle enough to break his heart. He reaches out, joining his hand with Hawks, interlocking their fingers over the smooth shell of the egg.

He doesn't remember falling asleep.

Inspired by a leftover easter egg my dog found at the park a few days ago. Definitely took 'contemplating the orb' to a new direction.

Earlier before bed:

Saroru: Are you sure you don't want to move it closer?(It looks a little lonely in the incubator even with the star blanket and bunny plush Eri had helped him pick out. Plus Kei looks like he wants to move it closer)

Hawks: Its alright there plus the humming will keep me up if we move it closer.(he really does want it closer but is to afraid of crushing it, it rolling off the bed or somehow knocking the incubator off the sidetable)

Satoru: (guy who pushed out the 2934g egg gets the final say) Alright

Hawks:(has already changed his mind but now feels committed to his first choice) It'll be fine.
