Toshichiyo dosu. Otano mo shimasu! by Toshichiyo とし千代 Via Flickr: I think it is safe to say, I am officially a minarai of Komayaka okiya in secondlife! I am so excited and having a great time. ^.^ My name is no longer Suki, but please call me Toshichiyo. My minarai debut was last night and I was lucky that it was during tsukimi. I started as a shikomi on Tanabata, so I felt it was very fitting to tell a short story of Kaguya hime. Do you know the moon pricess? Borne of bamboo, loved the earth but was whisked away back to the moon. I wonder what happened when she returned to the moon? Is the moon a white rabbit pounding mochi or is it the white face of Kaguya hime? I wonder... :) Thank you to my friend for taking this photo!!! :D

Evergreen by Hanae Meowca Via Flickr: Ao Ao To is a kouta that some geisha sing. It has a haunting sound but beautiful lyrics. 【歌詞】 青々と = Lush Green いつも松葉の二人連れ = Always, pine needles come in pairs (and connected by a fascicle!) 末も栄えて高砂の = Prospering until the end at Takasago (a famous Noh play about a long-loving married couple; also a place famous for pines). 変わらぬ色や春の風 = Unchanging colors (evergreen?) and spring breeze Picture is of me, Hanae.
