Kitsuke of the Day: Okinawa New Years Festival 2024 by Mari Lenoirre Via Flickr: Toshichiyo and I were meandering hours and hours before the 6pm performance tonight at Okinawa and found this really cool dragon with the Torii gate nearby the landing area and we couldn't resist taking a selfie. We both have new formals too. Toshichiyo owns Geigi and made a set of formal appliers with motif honoring Okinawa's textile heritage. And I'm wearing a formal hikizuri by Toshiha Magic that I commissioned her a few weeks ago in last year. I really love how our formals look and I look forward to 2024 with everyone and hope to meet new friends. Pictured: Toshinami and Toshichiyo

I clipped on a pair of cute bat wings to my obi that I got at Shop and Hop earlier this month. We had alot of fun with snacks, and two dances, And during the second dance everyone got to join in for Time Warp, Which was followed by Horror Movie Trivia where Satoha claimed the Crown. Maybe next year someone will steal her crown? Pictured: Toshiha, Toshinami, Toshichiyo, and Satoha of Komayaka Okiya.

Kitsuke of the Day: SL Renaissaince Festival with Toshichiyo by Mari Lenoirre Via Flickr: Toshichiyo and I visited the SL Ren Fair before it closed and had fun taking this on the ship we saw, Toshichiyo is wearing one of her new appliers for her store "Geigi" it looks so cute and so do the other appliers I have seen from her, and I am wearing a applier gifted by Toshiha for my birthday last month, Toshichiyo also sent me a gift applier which I will take a photo of in hopefully for the next Ozashiki. Toshichiyo dosu. Otano mo shimasu! by Toshichiyo とし千代 Via Flickr: I think it is safe to say, I am officially a minarai of Komayaka okiya in secondlife! I am so excited and having a great time. ^.^ My name is no longer Suki, but please call me Toshichiyo. My minarai debut was last night and I was lucky that it was during tsukimi. I started as a shikomi on Tanabata, so I felt it was very fitting to tell a short story of Kaguya hime. Do you know the moon pricess? Borne of bamboo, loved the earth but was whisked away back to the moon. I wonder what happened when she returned to the moon? Is the moon a white rabbit pounding mochi or is it the white face of Kaguya hime? I wonder... :) Thank you to my friend for taking this photo!!! :D

Danpatsu-shiki 20230828 by Toshiemi としゑ美 Via Flickr: Maiko Isako of Maneki Neko Okiya has celebrated her last night working as a Maiko-san. After a ceremonial cutting of her hair, she now prepares, rests, and awaits for the celebration of her erikae, (changing of the collar), which signals that she has graduated to become a SL geisha. No more swinging long sleeves. No more long, hanging obi. These child-like adornments are set aside for a more mature look. Congratulations to Isako-neesan and her family.
