Evergreen by Hanae Meowca Via Flickr: Ao Ao To is a kouta that some geisha sing. It has a haunting sound but beautiful lyrics. 【歌詞】 青々と = Lush Green いつも松葉の二人連れ = Always, pine needles come in pairs (and connected by a fascicle!) 末も栄えて高砂の = Prospering until the end at Takasago (a famous Noh play about a long-loving married couple; also a place famous for pines). 変わらぬ色や春の風 = Unchanging colors (evergreen?) and spring breeze Picture is of me, Hanae. I designed the texture for the kimono I am wearing. Shop here. Location is in Little Yoshiwara in SecondLife. Visit old Japan!
