Harder, better, faster, stronger.
whoever made this, good job!
You know...
For once, just for fucking once i would like to go to a slidejam where the hill is nothing but loud. Nothing but skateboarders gnashing their way down the hill with their almost offensively loud, hard wheels. Nothing soothes me more than the sound of hard wheels and the sound of them breaking traction on the pavement. I wanna see people cranking out laybacks, 360s and bluntslides. I want it all! This isn't to say that i hate freeriding in any sense. I don't. It's just that, i can't take seeing another kid do 180s, long "toesides" and, "heelsides" all day long. Of course, inherently there are only so many slides one can do in freeriding compared to techsliding. Hell, right now, there are only but a handful of freeriders i know that are gnarly as hell and are continually raising the bar beyond long standers and 180s. Let's also consider this. Slidejams are almost always held on short straightaways. So to me, it just makes sense for more people to be on hard wheels. It's more fun! Just think about how many slides you get to do on hard wheels and how many you get to on soft....Better yet, think about how many slides you get to do on a mellow hill with hard wheels than soft! Eh? I am, however, happy see that people on soft wheels are starting to do all those slides i mentioned. Bluntslides, and blunt 360s, etc...It's definitely exciting to see the bar being raised every day. Though I do have to say...I would be happier seeing the same kids do it on hard wheels :p. In the end it's all about having fun and doing whatever the fuck you like. I'm not trying to change anyone's opinion or mind here. These are but my own opinions after all. If any of this annoys you, you can just sit on a carrot. /Rant
