One of my most favorite and underrated ships in the top gun fandom is definitley SliMav, like. THEYRE SO CUTE!
The way Ron would absolutely tease Pete about his height all the time is so cute.
Holding Pete in his arms after having a bad dream or a rough day.
Holding him whenever he can, because as we can see from TG86 Slider is a very physically affectionate guy, grabbing Ice and not hesitating to throw an arm around him when they won the trophy, literally PICKING. MAVERICK. UP. After the final mission.
He does that ALL THE TIME, and I love him for it.
Don’t get me wrong IceMav is my absolute favorite and my day oneeee but SliMav you have my heart.
