I’m just putting all my thoughts and feelings together because why not 🤣 

I enjoyed majority of the episode; we did get some amazing things throughout. The Robron aspect was amazing; Aaron was supportive of Robert, he listened and took in what he was saying; they held hands (yes I know it’s a small thing but I always love them being intimate) & the overall message was that Robert and Aaron’s love is so consuming! It was the one and only thing that kept Robert going while he was inside; they are the great loves of each others lives and it’s always going to back to them. 

Faith my Queen 😍😊 I’ve been trying not to think about who the special guest was because I didn’t want to be disappointed but never did I expect it to be Faith!! Faith has always been one of Robert and Aaron’s biggest supporters both together and individually, so it was incredible seeing her doing what she does best. Telling the people in her life what they need to hear, she wanted her grandson to be happy and she knew Robert was the key to that! She got Robert to go through with his appeal & I’ll forever be thankful 🥹 

I even liked seeing Kev and Robert relationship develop; Kev was there for him and saved him & unfortunately I can’t fault him for that. The twist of it being that Kev stabbed himself to keep Robert inside with him was really good, as well as Kev being Lewis’ dad (someone to rival the inheritance 🤣) & Kev knowing that Robert lied about his reasoning for appeal in regards to Vic being ill (even though he’s done the same thing) is going to make for great TV in the near future! Esp Kev stabbing himself because Robert let that be the reason he didn’t chase up the appeal as quickly as he could have & he missed out on so much (Liv dying, being with Aaron & his son) and that’s going to be a kick in the teeth to both Robert and Aaron & they are going to want revenge let’s be honest. 

However; considering this was meant to be a Robert special it just didn’t give that. In terms of Robert alone, we learnt nothing new. We already knew he was terrorised and beaten up, that Kev put a stop to that happening, that he eventually got his appeal because he learnt about John and Aaron getting married, ect ect. Anything new we learnt wasn’t about Robert; it was about Kev. Personally, I would have liked to see more of what happened to Robert; because again, we learnt nothing we didn’t already know in regards to him and his character. Just felt it could have been more flushed out and explored. Maybe we will get it at a later date but I would have preferred it now

are we not going to talk about the literal bed/mattress the doctor and yaz had in the tardis??? like it was never mentioned in the episode and it was only shown long enough for us to start speculating.

the obvious answer probably is just that yaz sleeps there, especially considering the fact that she seems to have quit/lost her job and therefore might be staying on the tardis full time ?? even though the tardis is supposed to create rooms and should therefore make her a bedroom??? but obviously my mind wanders elsewhere, as i imagine everyone else's does

so either 1) the doctor and yaz are simply having a sleepover and just brought it out into the console room, 2) the tardis put it there to save them from their fall (even though there's so many other things it could have done), or 3) do i even need to say it

but of course, it probably just has something to do with a word that starts with q and rhymes with "waiting" - i don't want to claim that that's what's happening until it's confirmed later on but i also don't want to get my hopes up that it might mean something else. i mean they literally established in the episode that they were "friends" but that doesn't always mean what it's supposed to. yknow?

disclaimer: this is coming from someone who ships thasmin casually. like if it becomes canon, awesome. if it doesn't, less awesome but as long as it fits then that's fine. im open to whatever happens, i just don't want them to bait viewers and then not make it canon. that's where it becomes a problem

i’m trying to write a part 2 to my heisenberg fic but i always have such a hard time with second chapters these days i get too in my head about it and i worry it wont be as good as the first part

The initial high some reylos get when we get good food from jj or the cast is so funny because five minutes later they fall into a pit of despair. It goes like this in emoji form 😍😍🥰🥰😀😁😊🙂😐😕😧😖😬😭😭 I love this fandom and I feel like a lot of us need a hug.

Varian⭐

I think he's a very fun, interesting, and extremely smart kid. I like him now - but I will admit that I held a grudge against him for a long time. 

At the end of Season 1 after he decided to turn against Corona, the fandom went insane. A huge chunk of the fandom refused to accept his arc and used every possible excuse to justify him for his actions. People were so quick to say "he was just a kid", when the issue was Varian attempting regicide, when nobody gave a darn about the fact that Eugene started thieving.... when he was just a kid. It is true, Varian suffered a very traumatic event, and being a teenager, he had an emotional crises and he responded with anger. But I got so sick and tired of everyone blaming Rapunzel for his problems when they both knew why she didn't help him. 

I was very satisfied with his redemption arc, though. I was afraid he would have a cheap and incomplete redemption, but he didn't. It was satisfying to see him taking responsibility and acknowledging the fact that he messed up. He was willing to put up his life to save Corona to make up for his actions, and I was proud to see how he had matured.
