i love how many hockey bros are watching and talking about heated rivalry and talking about watching it and enjoying it earnestly. With how bleak things seem lately and how toxic hockey culture has become lately (so many teams and sexual assault scandals) this is really nice. I hope this can be a push for male hockey players to be more comfortable but also a shift in hockey culture as a whole
I don’t think a tv show has ever made me as tired as The 100 has. Idk a running theme for me this season is that all these characters just seem so tired. Tired of fighting, tired of hurting, tired of surviving.
And you know what? I’m right there with them. I’m tired of watching the characters I’ve spent the past 7 years with hurt, and in pain, and not getting the chance to rest, and never catching a fucking break.
So I’m really happy to have this dogblr community. There are so many wonderful people here. I really love being able to talk with all of you and see your progress with your dogs. I really feel good sharing with you guys that I won’t be so harshly judged and you can’t really find that elsewhere.
So special shout out to @salianka cause you are amazing. I think everyone needs a person like you in their lives. Don’t change, because every one of your likes and messages makes my heart soar. Do you ever feel like since the hippo part of hippopotamus means "horse" we could be calling regular actual horses "hippos" too and we're totally missing our chance?
