how did you get a pick hand delivered to you? did you just get the one mikey dropped/threw?
Okay so fun story! I was at the front row of b stage when you are facing towards the main stage. So where Gerard has their mic stand, and where Ray was facing as he plays. Frank the little shit (affectionate) only came over briefly to talk into the mic, and Mikey ran all over the stage.
I was living my best life during the Toronto B stage set list. Rocking out and just having so much fun. I head banged so hard I gave my self a headache twice. I really over did it and the next day needed to recover a lot lol. But I made eye contact with Ray where I got that amazing :D picture of him, and Mikey a few times.
Right after Kill all Your friends when there was the slight pause one of their security in the Draag costuming came up to me and tapped me on the arm as I was very engrossed by what was going on on stage. I thought oh fuck I’m getting kicked out what did I do. So I then look and the person goes “this is for you” and hands me a pick.
I was shaking. I didn’t even fully process what it said or whose it was. My friend @lamprosy asked me what that was about and I said “I just got Mikey’s pick” and proceeded to freak the fuck out. And then Na Na Na started and I freaked the fuck out more.
So yea I got hand delivered Mikey’s pick and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to process it.
