Girls

My Adam Driver -phase has brought me to Girls (a show that I didn’t watch when everyone was gushing over it... This happens to me too often. Cough cough GoT cough cough) and I’m not too sure of how I feel about the series as it is good, but at the same time I’m not too fond of some of the character traits. I like the fact that they are really flawed and make mistakes but at the same time I want to smack them all in the heads and say “Get a grip. You are literally fucking with your lives and playing with fire. Stop it. Pick yourself up, realize that you are so much more than this”. So yeah, still a bit on the fence with the series. But I guess that what makes the acting great within the series is that I feel this way, because the series feels realistic and I’m not indifferent about the characters but actively want them to make something out of themselves and get better. 

Also, I’m currently at the beginning of 2x09 and I’ve been warned about this episode and I don’t know if I can handle watching it to be honest. I’m not too good with intense and uncomfortable scenes which is why I usually ask for spoilers regarding those so I can prep myself. 

Any tips out there? Should I skip the episode and go straight into 2x10 or even the third season? Should I grit down and watch it?
