The music for this song was written and recorded in a hotel room on the Livin It Fall Tour of 2014. I came up with the chorus hook the following day on the bus while en route to our next show. Originally, I wasn't a huge fan or the words "Choice is Yours" as the lyrics for the hook...it was the melody that I was interested in. But overtime, these lyrics grew on me and I decided to keep them as is, which I then wrote the lyrics to the verse around this theme. "Choice is Yours" is still the only song I've ever written while on the road on a tour, though I hope to write more on the road in 2016.
