It has been refreshing to get back on trail and start walking again. To dive deeper into the conversations on my heart. Answering questions and coming up with a plethora of more. Also, this week wouldn’t have been near as exciting without following Sue around in the rain/burn/forest. . . . . #pctassociation #pct2018 #gossamergear #takelessdomore #slingfin #wildernessnation #washingtonstate #snoqualmie #chinookpass #explorewashington (at Snoqualmie, Washington)
Very interesting backpack project from SlingFin. It's a hardshell with an inner dry bag. Check out the KickStarter video for some hardcore durability testing:
Their goal is pretty ambitious: $175,000. They've got 21 days and $163,000 to go. So if you've got $200 for a backpack, consider backing them! The gear looks pretty durable and definitely unique. I especially like the fact that parts of it are designed to be user-repairable with zip ties (seriously!). Pretty neat. I'm getting more and more interested in hardshell bags.
