In a mossy pine forest south of the Splitting River, SlitherClan's territory is lush with moss and pine. In an area that gets a lot of sunlight by day, SlitherClan cats often hunt at night - hiding in plain sight before ambushing their prey silently. The dampness of the territory leads to a lot of moss growth, which SlitherClan uses to disguise their scent by rolling the strong, damp smell. SlitherClan is a clan of cats who are very open together, airing out any problems in public. They often use group discussions as a means of solving problems, with Clan Meetings being called by not just the Leader, but their Deputy and Medics as well.
- SlitherClan is active in the evening and night, sleeping through the early morning and daytime.
- SlitherClan often eats small mammals, lizards and amphibians.
- SlitherClan cats often hunt to eat, rather than hunting to store food, as the damp territory causes prey to spoil faster. Rule four of the Warrior Code is still followed.
- SlitherClan cats don't often see outsiders and approach them with quiet caution rather than aggression.
- SlitherClan's first leader was named Hazelstar.
- SlitherClan is often antagonized by venomous snakes and birds of prey.
♡ Relationships with Other Clans ♡
StarlingClan | Rival Clan
★☆☆☆☆
StarlingClan had always brought up during Clan Meetings, some way or some how. SlitherClan has always been wary of StarlingClan, often getting very defensive when they're accused of something by StarlingClan. They had never been afraid to antagonize their neighbors back, either. Threatening to take the Splitting River for themselves if StarlingClan did not take back their accusation. Ever since the vanishing of the moon, SlitherClan hasn't talked much about StarlingClan. Most cats choose to intentionally avoid the Splitting River during the final dawn patrol before sleeping, as to avoid the possibility of encountering an early StarlingClan patrol.
StarClan | Warrior Ancestors
★★★☆☆
Due to SlitherClan's open nature and occasional acceptance of loners and kittypets, there has always been a presense of cats in their ranks who do not feel strongly about, or even feel quite negatively towards, StarClan. While SlitherClan always relied on them in times of need, they'd often attempt to solve the problems themselves first - for better or for worse. Ever since the moon dissapeared, theres been a lot of questions thrown around in SlitherClan. Cats have been disucssing the Clans as a whole more than ever. Some have even wondered if StarClan was ever real in the first place.

𖠰 Notable Territory Locations 𖠰
The Rooted Pines | Clan Camp
A group of clustered trees whos roots tangle and overlap with one another. Dens and nests are burrowed into and under these roots, dried and lined with lichen and moss. Rather than having multiple individual nests, cats often sleep wherever they can in the den.
The Drooping Path | Hunting Grounds
A long, old beaten path made from moons and moons of pawsteps. Off the path, lots of small caverns and niches in the pine forest are home to plenty of prey. Occasionally, cats get stuck in tight spaces and need to be pulled out by their clanmates.
The Big Rock | Training Grounds
In a small clearing of pine trees, a large rock stands in the center. Cats will often bring their apprentices out in small groups to mock fight and mock hunt. Apprentices often stand on the rock and play a game similar to king of the hill.
