Silver, Espio, and Blaze are raising a child together. The last survivor of a collapsing timeline, Sliver couldn't abandon this small child when he saw them. Meet Zen, she/they pronouns, a young axolotl with a strange ability to phase through things (possibly a side effect of the conditions she was rescued from).
Their favorite foods are takoyaki and just about any sweet pastries.
Sliver was blushing. Which made Blaze blush. Which made Marine snicker behind to Gordon after telling him the events that had happen while he was gone. Silver took a deep breath and spoke again. This time much slower however. "I was wondering if you wanted to have a dance…?" Silver had said the last part so low that Blaze had to strain her ears to hear. "No Silver. I'd love to." They both smiled as Silver took her hands and they danced across the dance floor.

The Royal Ball
It was currently 11:42 PM, only three hours into the party. Blaze's eyes scanned the ballroom, where everyone was celebrating her latest return. Not the once-every-three-months visits to Sonic's dimension, which she did always enjoy. However, she felt those visits weren't necessary and were just a waste of time, putting her kingdom at risk of an attack. However, Gardon, her most trusted advisor, insisted she do it anyway. The first time he suggested it, she denied him. She didn't have time for visiting friends, as much as she liked to. "It's just not worth it." "But Princess, you can't keep overworking yourself. You have to take some time to relax too! It's important not to overwork yourself. The kingdom can't have a tired princess, can they?" Blaze gave him the look that meant she wasn't changing her mind, pushing back the thoughts of how nice it would be to unwind. "Plus," the koala added, "I already told Marine that you are going with her for the first trip." Marine had come around the corner at that time. "Yeah, and I can't wait to see them again!!!" "Anyways, Princess, it's only for two weeks; the Sol Emeralds will warn you if there's any danger, you know that." It had taken some more pleading, puppy eyes, and checking again and again if the Sol Emeralds were guarded enough for Blaze to finally give up and agree to take a vacation.
No, it wasn't that kind. It was the "help Sonic save his dimension" kind of visit. To Blaze's surprise, Marine had planned an entire ball (When did she learn how to do that!) For when Blaze returned and had told everyone to come when Blaze came back. When she did, Gardon immediately sent out invitations not only to the people in her dimension but also to her friends from elsewhere. Marine had also specifically requested Charmy to be there because, according to her, "Charmy's the only one who knows how to play pirates right!" So here she was, in an overly fancy outfit, sitting on her throne at the edge of the big ballroom in her palace. She didn't even know why there was a ballroom in the palace; she never really used it for anything besides a bigger play space for Marine. Maybe her mother or father hosted parties often. (A/n uhhhhh their dead btw. I don't know what other people think about it though.)
Blaze looked over to the snack table. Marine and Charmy were trying to sneak a cookie under the table. Didn't both she and Espio tell them no more sweets? As if she had summoned him by her thoughts, Espio came and pulled them both out from under the table. Blaze smirked but sighed. She was just bored and tired of this whole party thing. She rested her head on her hand and looked at the clock. 11:47 PM. Had it really only been five minutes? She could be doing something, anything, more productive than just sitting here. Maybe she could sneak away while no one was watching? She stood up and looked around one more time.
Amy was enjoying some baked goods at the table while talking to some party guests. Vector was talking to Vanilla. Tails was talking to Cream… She always thought he had a thing for her. Espio and Shadow were speaking, with Shadow looking like he was actually enjoying it for once. Charmy and Marine were apologizing to a couple for bumping into them while playing pirates, and Rouge was flirting with Knuckles, or just "teasing him to see how mad he could get." But Blaze knew better than to believe that. And Gordon had just left to refil the Punch bowl. She looked around one more time, making sure she knew where everyone was before making a quick (but quiet) dash for the huge ballroom doors. Just as her hand touched the overly fancy doorknob, she felt a finger tap her twice on the shoulder.
The orchid-colored princess jumped, startled by the shoulder tapper. Didn't she check everyone? But when she turned around, she saw none other than the Blue Blur himself. He had two chili dogs—one of which had a bite taken out— in one messy hand and one clean gloved hand that was close enough to her shoulder that she guessed he had used that one to tap her. She mentally cursed herself. How could she forget Sonic of all people? He usually stood out easily with his royal blue quills. Wait… had she even seen him enter? Had he just come? The hedgehog had a twig with a leaf on the end stuck in his messy quills that went this way and that. And was that a bruise on his head? "Sonic, please don't sneak up on me like that," Blaze sighed, still slightly startled. "Sorry, royal princess," Sonic said while dramatically bowing all the way down to the floor but ensuring his chili dogs didn't touch it. "Sonic, you know you don't need to do all that…" Sonic got back up and spoke in an overly fancy voice. "But of course I have to, princess! We only have five more minutes!" Blaze had no idea what he meant, but she chuckled at his fancy voice impression.
Sonic switched back to his regular voice. "And I need to come here more often. Your chefs make some really good chili dogs." "If you don't mind me asking, when did you come?" Blaze said curiously. "Oh, Marine snuck me in through the back doo—" "Sonic!" Marine said, running over and abandoning Charmy and their game. "You weren't supposed to say that!" "Oh, sorry, Marine! It should be any second now, right?" Blaze stared, confused. What's about to happen? "Sonic, what are you talking about, and why haven't I seen you for the entire ball?" Blaze spoke in a commanding voice but also softly, because Sonic was her friend. "Preparing your gift, M'lady!" Sonic dramatically bowed in his joking manner while Marine giggled. While it was funny, Marine, as funny as Sonic was, she was getting a little annoyed.
She hated being left in the dark about things she should know. Especially when it was in her kingdom. Just before Blaze was going to ask again,the clock stoked twelve. It rang out with 12 big loud 'DDDDDIIIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGG's. Both Blaze and Sonic covered their ears along with Tails, Rouge, Amy, Vanilla, and Cream. Some other guess covered their ears too but mostly the mobians with sensitive ears. Wow. As soon as this party ends that will be the first thing she changes. Blaze hears Sonic mumble "3, 2, 1….." Under his breath. And before she can react, a bright glowing ball of light in the center of the Ballroom.
Blaze smiles and blushes at the cyan light before she sees the hedgehog inside.
"Aw man! I ment to come a minute before twelve. Not a minute after!" A Silver colored hedgehog says disappointed while floating the in middle of the Ballroom with a glowing cyan light, staring at the huge clock. He was wearing a fancy violet colored cape. On one shoulder he even had a golden colored epaulette on with a rod connecting to the other side of the cape infront in the same golden color. Everyone was dead silent. "Oh whatever. Anyways…" Silver scans the room until he sees Sonic, Blaze and Marine all standing together. He floats over to them and huge Blaze. If it where anyone else, she would have pushed them off. But this was Silver. And, she would never say it out loud, but she alwaysed lover his hugs. "Happy birthday Blaze!!!" Silver yells. "Birthday…?" Blaze echoes, confused. "I told you she wouldn't remember!" Marine shouts and Sonic pats her head.
Silver broke from the hug and looked at Blaze shocked. "How could you forget your birthday!? Its on of the most special-ist day of the year!!! Me and Sonic was out all day trying to find you a gift!" Sonic chuckled. "More like I was trying to stop you from buying every gift from the stores." "SONIC SHUT UP BEFORE I FLING YOU FACE FIRST INTO A TREE AGAIN!!!" Silver said jokingly. All four of them laughed and by now everyone has gone back to enjoying the ball. Silver reached in his long white quills and pulled out a tiny box. "I couldn't find anything I thought was worthy of you. But, I hope you like this anyways!" He reached his hand out so Blaze could grab it as he looked down sheepishly. Blaze opened it to find a necklace with a purple amethiss gemstone shaped like a heart. It was heavier than the fake ones she'd find in the stores every so oftend so Blaze guessed that it was a real amethyst. Blaze smiled at this and put it on immediately. "
"You knew this all along during you?" Blaze smiles at the orange raccoon. "Of course I did! I even asked Sonic to help yer boyfriend!" "Marine don't say that! We're…" "Blaaaaaaaaze!!!" Silver came practically skipping over. Both Marine and Sonic had gotten a mischievous gleam in her eyes. "Were you going ta ask for a kiss?!" Marine had said. "Do you want me to hold some mistletoe over you two?" Sonic laughed. Both the albino hedgehog and the lupine cat quickly turned their heads and yelled "MARINE! SONIC! GO SOMEPLACE ELSE!!!"
They both calmed down after the raccoon ran away giggling and Sonic left to grab more chilli dogs. "What were you saying again Silver?" "I… I was… Iwaswonderingifyouwantedtodance!" The time traveler had said it so fast that Blaze haven't comprehend what he said. "Come again?" Sliver was blushing. Which made Blaze blush. Which made Marine snicker behind to Gordon after telling him the events that had happen while he was gone. Silver took a deep breath and spoke again. This time much slower however. "I was wondering if you wanted to have a dance…?" Silver had said the last part so low that Blaze had to strain her ears to hear. She heard it though and was flustered by his request. Blaze looked down in embarrassment.
"I-er-um-i mean… I-if you don't want to that's fine too…" Blaze looked up. Showing her red tinted face. "No Silver. I'd love to." They both smiled as Silver took her hands and they danced across the dance floor. With Marine taking a picture from afar. They didn't even realize it was 1:30 in the morning and everybody had left. (Well, beside Marine and Charmy who was sleeping next to each other. And Vector who was trying to take whatever left over food in a bag with Espio trying to talk him out of it. "So…" Blaze started. "I have a guess bedroom in the palace if you could… stay for awhile longer?" He smiled "Of course Blaze!" Blaze picked up the sleeping Marine. "After I taker her to bed ill show you where it is." Silver sighed of relief that he didn't have to try to find it in this big palace by himself. "And I'll deal with the Chaotixs" He smirked. Blaze saw Vector looked there way and hears him say said "Huh?" before walking away with Marine over her shoulders.
"Oh Chaos." She thought. "I'm definitely in love."
I asked which ship you’d guys wanted to see and I went with the one that sparked creativity first. Im not much of a clothes designer, Blaze gave me so many issues, but I think she turned out snazzy.
