Ey, for the @campcamp-secretsanta, I got @slothyslothslotherson !! They requested Gwenvid and I’m here to hopefully fulfill all those dreams. So happy holidays and here’s what I got with some explanation to the picture itself !! David’s watching one of Gwen’s TV shows with her! David enjoys cuddling and Gwen likes sharing things she enjoys and this is a perfect little date night for both of them. He doesn’t understand a lot (any) of what’s going on, but she doesn’t mind his questions and is really just excited to watch this with him?? And she googles everything and gives really long explanations and he loves to see her so pumped and they just genuinely enjoy making each other happy whoops

Oh, no, poor David. If he thought he was constantly tired before, he’s beyond exhausted during that stage of Max’s life. It’s tantrum city, with a stop at Biting and Kicking-ville.

But there are rare moments when Max is calm and happy, usually when he’s being held or David gives him undivided attention. Honestly, the tantrums are usually just because he really wants attention from David. Poor attention-needing baby.

And while David’s happy to give his son undivided attention, it’s not always an option.

my dude daniel and david being passive agressive roomies gives me life. like david loves everyone but is the saltiest motherfucker to daniel. like, full on bitch mode

I mean, after finding out that Max was right and Daniel had been lying to him all along and had actually been trying to kill the campers, can you really blame him for being so salty?

Part of it might be fueled by guilt for not trusting Max when he should have, but the majority of it is anger towards Daniel and the choices he made. Sure, David would still like to be his friend, but Daniel has to earn back his trust before that can happen. But since Daniel doesn’t give two shits about David trusting him, they just end up being more passive-aggressive than two PTA mothers at a bake sale.

Why I like them/why I don’t

Judai has hands down the best character arc in ygo. He goes from a happy go lucky kid to traumatised as all hell plus he gains cool as hell superpowers along the way?? what’s not to love?

What I like about their appearance

He’s red. Also his season 4 yubel eyes are badass. Also his hair is the only ygo hair i can draw consistently

Do I prefer their dub names or original names?

Sub name for sure but I grew up with the 4kids dub so I don’t mind him being Jaden. Judai and Jaden are very different characters though
