The call was answered and a time was had!
Day Nine Hundred and Twenty Eight
Alcide “slow drag” Pavageau.
NYC Dance
I haven’t updated in a while! I’ve found the Frim Fram the continue to be an amazing location! I go whenever I can! I think I’ve been to about four Frim Fram’s so far! (I just got back from a three week trip to Austria, so that interrupted my dancing!) The other day I also attended a new weekly dance at the Delilah, Glen Crytzer’s All Stars plays, and the music was really phenomenal! The floor was a little small, but was a really amazing wood floor, and there were sofas along the wall with little tables to sit and eat or drink! The dancing all happened in a sort of back room to the main bar, and I’m pretty sure there were only dancers in there the entire time! It was mainly a balboa night, although they did through in a few lindyhop songs and a few slow drags! Tonight, I’m checking out Swing 46 for the first time! From what I’ve read, it’s supposed to be a cool spot! I’ll share my opinion too! :)
