7. They can’t remember a thing about who they are and just hit redial on their phone. 

He had looked through the texts on his phone, so he concluded that his name was Ryan, but that was about all he had learned. Finding himself in an abandoned parking lot in the dead of night with nothing but a phone and pounding headache didn't shed too much light on who he was. 

But maybe the people on his phone could. He hesitated before hitting the redial button, not sure who he was about to call. But if they knew who he was, then he would take the risk. "Hey, yeah. It's...Ryan?" He cringed, running a hand through his hair. "Who..who is this?"

✥ ||-  Ryan watched with a strange glint in his eyes as Gavin spat out the words, his mouth gleaming an ugly red. Their fight over something so petty--rights to drive the new aircraft--had somehow taken a darker turn. Ryan's split lip was a mark of their scuffle. And now he had brandished a knife, about as long as his forearm.

Ryan chuckled. "Are you sure, now?" He expertly flipped the knife in his hands. "Giving permission doesn't make it go any easier."

Ryan walked into the office that morning tired and stressed. He knew he’d have a lot of work to get done today, and he barely got any sleep from a small cough he had acquired. He really wasn’t in the mood for any joking.

His chair was on the opposite side of the room for some reason, and he rolled his eyes, suspecting Gavin. He didn’t expect anything to happen when he grabbed his chair, didn’t know he had pulled rope attached to it that would trigger a hastily made trap that sent a gallon of water gushing onto his head.

When it happened, Geoff erupted into laughter. Ryan sighed, looking down at his chair and his other hand, where his laptop had been in his hand. He sucked in a sharp breath. It was soaked. He wanted to scream, but he took a moment. Then he whirled around, facing Gavin. “Gavin,” he said, deadly calm.
