They had all been suspicious of Ryan. The Mad King, the showboat. Oh, how wrong they had been.

Of course, they had never suspected Jack. Why would they? They never saw him as a threat, a fat, useless sidekick, who built houses and was always so eager to help!

No, he had been searching for weaknesses, making plans, waiting for when the time was right.

One by one, they fell. Geoff was the hardest- they'd been together from the start, but once he was gone, it was so easy to get rid of the others.

And if he left them alive long enough so that they saw the way he nonchalantly places the crown on his head, well, then that's just the icing on the cake.
