Real thoughts that I hope I can turn into something woth sharing by the end of the week; I feel like I haven't got into the swing of things just yet. Any tips to help me find said 'swing'? 🤔 (maybe post some more of my POTD, perchance?) #reallife #newyear #writing #drawing #scribbles #wip #slowstart #apprehension https://www.instagram.com/p/BsnRn8VlyZF/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=y70oh1w20xsk
Maybe it's not the cold. Maybe it's just that it's Monday, the farthest point from next weekend's outpost.

Starting back slow.
Blackberry Waffles are a delightful breakfast treat. The sweet and tangy blackberries add a burst of flavor to the fluffy waffles. Perfect for a leisurely weekend breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 2 tbsp sugar. 1 tbsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp salt. 2 large eggs. 1 1/2 cups milk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 cup fresh blackberries. Maple syrup for serving. Whipped cream for topping.
Instructions: Follow the directions that came with your waffle iron to get it hot. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl. First, beat the eggs in a different bowl. Then, add the milk and broken up butter. Combine well. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed. Don't mix it too much; it's okay if there are some lumps. The fresh blackberries should be added slowly. Brush cooking spray or a little melted butter on the waffle iron to make it smooth. Use the amount of waffle batter that comes with your waffle maker to pour it onto the hot iron. Follow the directions on the waffle iron's box to cook the waffles until they are golden brown and crisp. Carefully take the waffles out of the iron and serve them right away with whipped cream and maple syrup. Enjoy your tasty Blackberry Waffles that you made yourself!
