Saturday Ride to Corktown
After noticing my tires were low on my way to North Corktown, I spotted a bike pump outside Metropolis Cycle as I took a coffee stroll down Michigan Avenue.

This crazy heat may have put a damper on today’s Sunday Streets on Folsom, but the #SlowStreets movement is here to stay. Looking forward to spending time on Folsom next weekend when it isn’t a sauna. (at Folsom Street, SF) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEzxIlIBln6/?igshid=ahl78ryvw3d5

#COVID19 is horrific, but one good thing we’re seeing during the pandemic is the movement for slow streets: taking certain car-dedicated streets & rededicating then for walking, biking & eating. It’s been a huge success, allowing people to use their streets on a more human & community-oriented level. It’s also a fantastic way to support our restaurants & bars, by giving them more outdoor space so that these small businesses can survive. I truly hope that we continue this program after the pandemic abates. It has the potential to be transformative for our city, creating a more livable & sustainable community. #slowstreets #bike #walk #visionzero (at San Francisco, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDHN_h2hWVG/?igshid=toinvq10fkaj
