“The Radleys” is billed as a horror comedy about a suburban family of vampire trying to abstain from drinking blood. Well, the parent are trying. The kids don’t realize they are vampire as well. They accept the news with about the same surprise that you might have if Uber Eats delivered the wrong order.
I said it’s “billed as a horror comedy” but the movie is tonally uneven. It’s hard to be funny when one of the early scenes involves a teen boy trying to rape a girl. When she defends herself, it brings out her inner vampire - and from that point she becomes slutty.
Then they have a next door neighbor who happens to be a vampire hunter. He suspects the Radleys based on absolutely no evidence. He acts so weird, it’s like he’s from a different movie.
Meanwhile the son is lusting after his sister’s boyfriend and yadda yadda yadda. Absolutely do not recommend.
If I had to be a slutty vampire I'd dress like Bret Hart. Everything I wear is black and hot pink, I've got shades on indoors, I have a leather jacket over my spandex, my hair is extremely long and inexplicably wet at all times.
