Yesterdays first meal. I couldbt decide between scrambled and fried. I put some butter in the pan, cracked the eggs in then let them cook for a second, added a tiny bit of sharp cheddar to the whites and scrambled the cheese into one of the yolks and the whites... by the time they were cooked (the whites) I puked it all in the bowl. The other yolks were perfectly runny and made the eggs ... slutty... how else can I describe them? Ok the origin of me describing food as “slutty” comes from my beautiful late aunt Deborah Holcomb... she’s my reason for being passionate about food and loving to cook. She described rich, delicious, flavorful food as “slutty”. Best term ever. Don’t agree? That’s cool. She passed away from pancreatic cancer and my heart is still broken from losing her. Every time I make something slutty I think of her... That’s all. I’m going to cry a little bit now.
