Never did I think Legolas in any verse could be best friends with a dwarf, much less Dwalin, the roughest toughest of them all, yet here we are. And I am so excited! His hand inadvertently gripped the hilt of his blade, and pulled it from its sheath, if only a little, to show that if she tried anything, he was ready. Though he had a feeling that the being before him would be much stronger than she initially let on.

"Isildur died nearly two thousand years ago…" His eyes narrowed, and he circled around her, eyeing her frame. "You do not appear to be an elf… You may be one of the Dúnedain, though I very much doubt that. So… who… or what are you?" ☼

Oh, yes, she'd forgotten. How time flew when one was waiting f or their master's call. She'd also forgotten that Isildur wasn't exactly well-liked. Woops.

"No, not the Dúnedain..." she hesitated, not liking the way he held his sword. She did not go through fire and flame just to be brought down by a dwarf with a blade. She took a small steady step back, but reached out into his mind to stop him from maiming her - if it came to that. She settled herself there, feeling sweat beading along her hairline at the effort it took to do just that.

"You see much, my king."
