Sly Cooper Hot-Takes
1) I’m honestly glad the movie got axed... like it sucks that it did, but the designs were...bad to say the least, and movies based on video games ALWAYS FLOP in theaters. 2) Bob Cooper and Salim were wasted potential and I literally hated that they replaced Slytunkhamen I and Henriette Cooper with them for Sly 4. 3) TV Show probably is canceled if we don’t hear anything at E3 2020 or July 2020. 4) IDK how this is suddenly controversial??? but Carmelita is a fucking dope character and vital to the series?? 5) I expect a Sly 1 remake to be announced in 2022 (the 20th anniversary of the game) but I wouldn’t be surprised if Sony doesn't even acknowledge that. 6) Neyla was the series’ best villain EASILY. 7) The fandom is honestly one of the most chill fandoms out there??? 8) If Sony dropped a 5-minute video that showed Sly being saved from Egypt and ending up with Carmelita as a way to close the series... I’d happily take that. 9) I’d take a remake of the original trilogy games than a Sly 5. 10) Sony should hire some of the fandom artists to help create official merch + ads for the series.
