Slytherin Thing
I have this thing that the reason so many students in Slytherin turned towards the dark arts is because so many expected him to. Look at Draco for example, he was pushed into doing the Dark Arts and joining Voldemort's army because everyone thought he would, same thing with Snape (still hate the guy tho). Ambition is also seen as an "evil" trait, cunning is conceived as dishonorable and tricky. When describing someone else, 'snake' is used as an insult. Really the snake symbolizes rebirth, transformation, immortality, and healing, not that stupid and cruel stuff that people believe what a snake is. These 'snakes' that were sorted into their house have been villainized and have constantly been bullied, which drove those Slytherins to hex and curse back, always receiving the blame for when things get taken to far.

i’m back!
it took a while for the flood things to get sorted out at home, but by the time it did, it was back to school for me, where tumblr and many other sites are blocked. but! i am currently back home, where things are calm again, and will be back on here for two weeks, because i am gone for another month ;~;
