Not a lot to show today, just this rough for a Spite-Revenant. I will definitely play more with the twisting wood shapes of the limbs, they feel... interesting. But it does give away the army I will be focusing on for the challenge. The Blood Wood.
I finished painting Alarielle the Everqueen :)
She was fun to paint, even more fun to use in games and watch her wreck other gods/ massive units. Also being an elven goddess her spear throw hits harder than a cannon I love it. Also her insta kill fist is brutal!
O.k. not gonna lie. As much as I want the new soul war box set. I really thinking of instead finely picking up Alarielle model.
Or some Idoneth Deepkin models.
I love the new stormcast but I would like an army I can take into store with me, as I have alot of great looking stormcast ladies. But becuase of the heads I can't take them into a store.
The Alarielle model is still one of the BEST looking models GW have ever made. The treelord kits still amazing and I gonna try taking off the beard and using it as leafy, braided hair instead.
I also have parts of a small Sylvaneth army, I love the newer kits but I still find Dyrads kinda boring and, becuase the Alarielle model is so amazing I'm kinda intimidated by it. I'm not the best builder (I really struggle with the celestaint Prime), that's before painting. The model sort of intimidates me.
I'd love to try the Idoneth Deepkin, they are as a whple some of the best looking models GW have ever made. Espically Eidolonls of Mathlaan, the sea life and fish are so cute. Plus, their lore is amazing. Come on GW give me a novel about one of the Idoneth cities please.
The downside is getting an starting army just isn't viable, thier so expensive I could just buy some of thier models see what thier like to build.
What do people think I should buy Alarielle or the Eidolon of Mathlaan?

Ive been converting a spirit of durthu to actually be durthu reborn. Once the glue sets im going to cut his fingers off and reposition them to hold the sword better. I was making this up as i went along but im fairly happy he has a 2 handed pose now
