These models are BIG, like each one is about the size of a 40k Dreadnought, you cannot get a sense of scale from the picture on the box...

Anyway what if I put these big ass models on some tall scenic bases and just made them a true nightmare to ever transport anywhere? Couldn't be me

Some cool stuff

It’s kinda awesome that the Orruk Warclans book just confirms that Orruks still control most of Ghur. Like the Age of Chaos came and destroyed Order across the realms...and Orruks are still like ‘Yep, we’re here, we’re not going anywhere, hey let’s go wreck the Manticore Realmgate Dreadhold for the fifth time and deface Archaon’s statue some more!’

Oh, also, Ogor Mawtribes book gives us the one time an Orruk Boss and Ogor Boss teamed up to just wreck Archaon’s fortress around the Manticore Realmgate.

Yeah. That’s literally 4 times the Forces of Destruction have taken it. Like...it’s gotta be the single worst post you can get in the Chaos Forces.

But yeah AoS is fun cause it doesn’t treat the factions other than Stormcast like losers. The Ogor Mawtribes in their book get to win against Stormcast twice.

The best is the Thunderbellies Tribe though. Not only do the Stormcast just utterly fail to defeat them, with the Mawtribe wiping out the Warrior Chambers sent to purge them from the mountains, but we find out these dudes and dudettes can literally eat lightning! Upon returning in defeat the Warrior chamber notes they are missing members who never came back!

Damn Age of Sigmar is awesome.

This whole kit was such a pain to make. There was so many parts and it was super intimidating. But I took it slow and steady. One part at a time. If I ever decide to make another one, I know what shortcuts to take now.
