          it looks as if he’ going to collide straight in to the kunoichi, what with how fast he’s careening across the landscape. a cloud of dust and smoke kicks up behind him. rock lee is known for many things, his speed of course being one of them. but she tells him to slow down, she has her things strewn about, and lee notices just in time. he’s skidding to a halt, an even bigger cloud of dust erupting from his feet that stop not two feet in front of tenten. just in time. 

          one would even think he planned it that way. 

          “the sun is waking up very soon! so i am awake to greet it with such youthful spirit!” he preens, all pearly whites at seeing his teammate up so early, too. normally he’s the first and only one about, on his 100th lap around the village by now.
