Coming up with a story exploring a Pokemon’s basic premise is one thing, but using that premise for something funny and creative is what I really love seeing and what Sun&Moon does best. We’ve got Komala, a Pokemon that literally always sleeps yet can still function? LOL THAT WOULD DRIVE JIGGLYPUFF CRAZY LET’S MAKE AN EPISODE OF THAT. Genius. Seeing a new spin put on the 20-year-old gag sure was a treat, who would’ve thought that Jigglypuff would ever get a taste of her own medicine...and LIKE it? xD  Komala was unsurprisingly a savage in battles as well, as gag characters tend to be. Trying to make Rowlet battle while asleep was a funny idea by Satoshi, I can see that actually happening eventually. The beginning with Satoshi getting Burnet for dinner was super cute, love seeing that she’s actually moved in. I didn’t realize where she was at first and thought Satoshi was gonna attempt to swim to another island and be like WAIT I CAN’T DO THAT but nah she’s just chilling underwater, of course. Alolan Oak needs to get put away for that Dusknoir gag, THINK OF THE CHILDREN Suiren encouraging Popplio to sing was cute, evolution foreshadowing maybe? Please let her have that The art style for this episode is definitely one of my favourites, its roundness and comfyness is so consistent. Animation was solid too but the next one is looking to be absolutely amazing in that regard, looking forward to it. Bewear at the end got a good laugh out of me, they actually managed to surprise me with the classic Jigglypuff face drawing gag in addition to the new spin, good job~
