I'm trying to find a webcomic I read idk a decade ago, I'm fairly sure it was on Smackjeeves so the chances of finding and reading it are slim to none (unless it was archived or uploaded elsewhere)

it was about this city ruled over by these semi-immortal demon lords, it mostly followed one of the demon lords and this mute guy that he was friends with kinda but also kinda had imprisoned, there were a couple of other demon lords and also these knights fighting against the demon lords

it had a mostly monochromatic art style with only magic and similarly powerful things being in bright colour

Does anyone recognise the comic I'm talking about? Do you remember what it was called? Was it on Smackjeeves? Was it archived or uploaded elsewhere?

by the way, if anyone had comics up on smackjeeves before it was shut down, someone uploaded like 90% of the website to internet achieves. it was where i was able to find my comic, maybe you can find yours too :>

There’s this one webcomic that I think was on smack Jeeves that I’m trying to find. It was a BL webcomic about a high school kid who came into his incubus powers and his relationship with the popular bad boy in school. When he became an incubus his hair turned red and he was no longer able to dye it back to black.

Smackjeeves has closed

As of December 31st, 2020 Smackjeeves has closed. The site was a major pillar of webcomic culture, being one of the first webcomic specific sites out there and still pretty popular before it updated last year and caused a mass exodus from the site. The loss of this site is a tragedy with the variation of hosting sites slimming and the loss of many comics exclusive to the site.

One day soon I want to do a full post recounting the history and significance of Smackjeeves. It was one of the first places I consistently read comics and has a special place in my memory and a soreness towards it’s avoidable demise. But in the meanwhile be sure to support those who were affected by this closure. I will be updating my archives in the next few days to remove Smackjeeves from the public archives and putting exclusive comics on private. May the imprint of this platform live on in the minds of people who were touched by its existence.

Hey so years ago i started a comic called Blaq Majiik, a ‘horror’/fantasy comic i created as a teenager! It used to be hosted on Smackjeeves but since that sight exploded, i’m reuploading here for anyone who might wanna check out this mess haha

I should warn you, the art isnt great, the pages are unnecessarily dark 80% of the time, the panels are clustered, the speech bubbles sometimes do not at all point to the right place, its emo as fuck cause i was unmedicated. its a bit of a mess.  so uh. if you’re cool with that feel free to continue.

this might also be hard to read here and there because i used rather small text here and there, as well as the coloured text based on character resulting in some of the text being REALLY light (like daves) so uh. oops.

I’m to this day still interested in working on this series, but i don’t know when that will ever happen. Feel free to send asks about this to @kaiartz :D

Weird nostalgia

I miss this one comic I found years ago about a high fantasy lesbian world and all the women looked like jotaro and it was the best thing ever...

...sadly the author realized how weird the art was and nuked it from existence replacing it with a more mundane art style. I think it stopped updating or its just gone forever.

RIP If anyone can find that comic it was glorious, especially the old art. It's only once in a lifetime you see an art style like that.
