As a fan of the Percy Jackson book series since I was a teen to late teen and even early 20s, up til now. I'm still kind of insulted by Percy's lack of cleverness when it comes to retorting to Annabeth. And after recently listening to the audiobook for the Demigod Files, I got more frustrated with him 😅. He tries to call her “Wise Girl”, but Percy got that from Clarisse when he first got into Camp when she and the other 2 Ares girls were trying to give him a classic school bully “Swirly” in the rusty bathroom. Then when fighting with Thalia, after she called him Seaweed Brain more aggressively than Annabeth usually does, he responded by naming her “Pinecone Face”. Personally, I'm surprised he didn't call her something like Feather Face, or Pigeon Blood, or even something like Clever Hen, but more importantly an easy one is Bird Brain which is an oldie. The only time I wouldn't assume to call someone bird related as an insult might be someone like Thalia, that's connected to Zeus. And in the series, the Thunderer is terribly paranoid of his brother Poseidon who has no ambition to take over patronage of the sky or the throne of Olympus because of the incident where the gods imprisoned him to make him swear on the Styx to be a better King of the Gods. But honestly his wife, Queen Hera, would be more of the one to fear. Especially since he and the others put the blame on the Goddess of the Earth, Wives and Motherhood and strung her up in the same chains. And if there was ever a mortal child of Hera that was sired outside of their eternal wedlock, the only pun for them would be something like Mama's Boy/Girl. Which would be likely since she's so dangerous whomever that person was likely would've been destroyed by Hera's smothering to protect them (especially from Zeus). But every Camper kid should have an obvious insult name aimed at them unless it's something personal like Thalia's transformation into a tree. Like; an Ares child being called “Boar Head”, or a Dionysius kid being nicknamed a “Madcap” (since the Wine lord is also the god of Madness) or even something like “Juice Boy/Girl”, a Demeter Camper being called “Mulch Mouth”, or someone calling an Aphrodite child - “Tacky”. I'm saying that someone as often clever as Percy seemed to be could've made his consort's face burn red in embarrassment and anger.
