Lucy’s stood at the first cry of ‘Mommy’ and racing up the stairs by the third. She may have been a mother of 5, but that didn’t make her panic any less when she heard one of them cry out in such a way.
Not pausing for breath at the top of the stairs she goes straight to Gordon’s room, dreading what she might see.
